Netscape 6.2 has new functionality and better platform support (Windows XP and MacOS X) as well as improvements such as fixes to known problems and improvements in compatibility with other browsers in quirks mode. This document is intended to introduce new functionality in Netscape 6.2 and to detail some of the compatibility improvements.
